Since there is not much snow in Czech, the decision how to spend the last day of an old year was quite simple. Bohemian forest (Šumava) promised beautiful weather and I haven't been there for ages. Everyone told me it's gonna be too icy but luckily it was not. The snow layer is hard but the tires held well. The only unbikeable places were where people left deep foot steps in the snow.
Untouched snow was the best option!
I could see the progress in number marked of biking trails :-)
As I could see the difference in quality of the forest :-(
Marked trails didn't attract me too long...
Laka lake with glacial origin is the highest and smallest lake in Bohemian forest.
Looking forward to great year 2014!
