Zelenjak & Vrtača through Y

At 5 am we met with Katja in Kranjska Gora to go to Mojstrovka..... or, at least we were supposed to. When I called her 5 past 5, I heard just sleepy: "halooooo?" So while she was getting ready, I drove to Tržič, where we accidentally met Tone and Nadja and agreed to go together. Up the former Zelenica ski field we were meeting crowds of people, but they all turned somewhere and in the valley Suho Ruševje we were nearly alone.

Approaching the saddle between Vrtača (in the background) and Zelenjak.
The last part was better without skis.
Close to the summit we met few people going down.
And the views? Amazing!
Go Outdoor team on Zelenjak (2024 m).
The snow was just exposed to the sun so every minute it was getting softer...
... ok, not everywhere. Y in Vrtača is turned north west and the snow there was hard to icy.
But the panorama of Karavankas is worth some effort.
And after all, with all the walking we deserved some beautiful skiing :-)
